			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>These                            arms incorporate the same huge 1.25″  uni-balls and                            spacer design like our Long  Travel kit, but the 1.25″                            uniballs yield far  more angle than the 1″ uni-balls in                            our  previous design. Also used in the new UCA design                             is our all new spacers with the upper bolt recessed                             into the top spacer. This allows 1.25″ more clearance                             from our old design allowing more compression wheel                             travel than before. For the hardware we went  all out                            utilizing 12-point race hardware and  heat treated                            stainless spacers. Also note the  clamps for                            your ABS lines on the arm. The  design of these arms                            incorporates caster and  camber correction needed when                            lifting the  Toyota trucks as well as superior strength                          and  more wheel travel.</p>

<p>Late  November we  got a call from a gentleman in Russia. He wanted a truck that  could handle Russia&#8217;s toughest terrain. The truck is going to be used  to travel to remote parts of the mountains in Russia. The area is about  500km and ranges in elevation up 12,000ft. Primary duty of this truck is  to protect the Wolves from the hunters!</p>
<p>Due to the amount of time it takes to build, ship  and clear customs, the truck had to be done before Christmas.  This was going to be a  challenge.</p>
<p>About 2 weeks later, we had the truck as the owner had some trouble tracking down a 6-Speed.</p>
<p>Original  plans were to add a large transfer fuel tank with a tool box for the bed.  But, due to the 2-3 week build time on the tank, and the amount of room  that would be left in the bed, that idea was scrapped. The best  alternative was 5 gallon gas cans. We designed the bedcage to be bolt-on in sections so that its modular and has the ability for more storage.</p>
<p>There were also plans for other modifications that just couldn&#8217;t be completed given the time constraints.</p>

<p>We now include in our long-travel kits for the 2005-2012 Tacoma&#8217;s and 2007-2012 Tundra&#8217;s,  MIL SPEC / NAS 12pt bolts for the lower spindle uniballs. These bolts are rated 180,000 psi minimum tensile strength and 108,000 psi minimum shear strength &#8230; a stronger or higher quality bolt does not exist. A grade 8 or 12.9  bolt is no where near the quality and strength. These are the same exotic bolts used in high end race cars/trophy trucks and aircraft. These bolts have an exact grip length (shoulder) for optimum strength something you can&#8217;t get with a Grade 8/9 or 12.9 allen bolt. They also have a larger radius under the head of the bolt to further increase the shear strength.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s another example of how we constantly upgrade our products and bring the highest quality parts to our customers. What other kit out there is using $60 bolts?</p>
<p>These bolts are also available separately for customers looking to upgrade their existing kits. These will only work with a Camburg long-travel kit. You will also either need to buy new top spacers or have your existing spacers machined to clear the larger radius these bolts have under the head.</p>

<strong>Camburg Racing Charges Hard in Henderson! </strong></p>
<p><strong><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-3708" title="11HEN_01" src="http://www.camburg.com/new/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/11HEN_01-300x199.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="199" />Huntington Beach, CA –</strong> The 2011 Best in the Desert Transwest Ford Henderson 250 race was not only the last race of the season but was also a double point’s event. This event gives valuable points needed to move up in the rankings if you place well and can make or break teams if they have poor results. With the pressure on at the last race of the year, teams needed to be on their A game. Camburg Racing did just that, but in qualifying suffered a rollover that cost a valuable starting position. The practice lap went very well with a time around 3m 55s that if it counted would have had the #75 Camburg Racing General Tire Trick Truck starting in the Top 10. Obviously practice laps don’t count so #75 would be starting all the way in the back in the 36th starting position.</p>
<p>Immediately after qualifying the crew headed to the hotel parking lot to assess the truck. The major damage was to most of the fiberglass body panels and the driver side front shocks. During the crash the front shocks were ripped apart during the violent roll. Loaded up, Jason Campbell and Scott Zindroski drove from Henderson, NV to Santee, CA that night where Fox is located. The entire race crew at Fox Racing Shox immediately started rebuilding them at 6am Friday morning and was able to turn them around in just over an hour. Now back underway Jason and Scott drove back to Henderson to finish the 600 mile road trip to get the shocks back on the truck to go through tech and contingency. Working all day fueled on Monster Energy, the team was able to have the truck body fixed by 3pm just as Jason and Scott pulled up with the shocks. It could have not been planned any better. Camburg passed tech inspection and had the #75 ready to do battle the following day.</p>
<p><img class="size-medium wp-image-3709 alignleft" title="11HEN_02" src="http://www.camburg.com/new/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/11HEN_02-300x168.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="168" />Piloting the #75 Camburg TT on race day was long time racing veteran and 2008 Best in the Desert Trick Truck Champion Jerry Whelchel with Craig Hall as co-driver. Starting at the back, JW picked off the competition one by one and at the end of the 1st lap was in the Top 10. Pulling into main pit on the start of the 2nd lap, the Camburg Racing General Tire TT got a splash of VP race fuel and was back out on course quickly. On Lap 2 Jerry was able to catch and pass a few more trucks putting the #75 into the top 7 in class. With nightfall just around the corner, on the start of the 3rd and last lap JW pulled into main pit for fuel and the light bar loaded up with KC HiLite’s Carbon Fiber HID lights. During the installation of the light bar the team ran into a problem from the rollover as the cannon plug was slightly damaged. The team worked their magic but unfortunately it took about 5 minutes to get back under way. Starting the last lap Camburg Racing was 8th position on corrected time but with Jerry’s driving skills and how well the KINETIK Trick Truck was working, the #75 made up huge gaps and passed most of the competition.</p>
<p><img class="size-medium wp-image-3710 alignleft" title="11HEN_03" src="http://www.camburg.com/new/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/11HEN_03-300x156.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="156" />The #75 Camburg Racing Trick Truck crossed the finish line 4th physical in class and on corrected time took home the 3rd place podium finish and was the first General Tire TT to finish the race. This finish helped move the team up from 9th to a solid 6th overall for the 2011 season in the Unlimited Trick Truck among near 50 competitors.</p>

This bearing allows for more mis-alignment for maximum wheel travel and uses our flush mount hardware that gives you more clearance between the arm and inner fender for a cleaner look as well. These arms correct the suspension geometry by increasing much needed caster and allow for a wider range of alignment adjustment.  For the HD arms we use thicker .188” wall 4130 chromoly tubing for maximum strength on this heavy chassis.</p>

We did this to test how much it can handle and what it could do off-road. ]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When we first built the Ranger EDGE race truck we had our dual shock 6.0  system on it. We did this to test how much it can handle and what it  could do off-road. This truck did a great job and beat many long travel  trucks and laid down average speeds of 45 mph, speed some 7 open trucks  never hit! This truck ran our 6.0 performance system with a basic 3 link  with shock mounted off the rear axle.</p>
<p>“Little EDGE” was changed after our first year of racing it to what is  now known as “The Edge”. The changes we made were a full race long  Travel kit and our full race 3 link system. We raced this truck in the  Baja 1000 and the Baja 500 as well as the whole 2007 BITD race year in  the 7200 class where we earned 3rd in rookie of the year points and 2nd  over all. This truck is now owned by Marc Burnett and raced in the SCORE  class 6. The Edge has won the Baja 1000 and the San Felipe 250.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Huntington Beach, CA</strong> – BITD’s Vegas to Reno is one of the most challenging races of the season. It’s the longest off-road race in the U.S. during the heat of the summer. It tests both man and machine to extreme limits. This year’s race was 550 miles through the toughest desert terrain starting in Beatty, Nevada just outside of Las Vegas and finishing in Dayton, Nevada near Reno.</p>

<p>Wednesday before the race, the Trick Truck’s and Unlimited buggies had their qualifying event 20 minutes north of Las Vegas at an undisclosed location. The field of over 60 vehicles set out to do a practice lap and then staged in the blistering sun. Camburg was 9th off the line and threw down a competitive lap time. Qualifiers are staggered every 1 minute, but a fellow competitor ahead blew an engine and was being towed off course which added 3-5 seconds to their overall time from the distraction. BITD officials gave the option to re-do the run but the team declined the opportunity as they felt they had a fast enough run to not have to beat up the truck more, when this race is the longest and most challenging. The #75 truck qualified 14th in class and 22nd overall.</p>
<p>Come race day the team staged in Beatty and the chase trucks headed out to their respective pits. Starting the race with Championship Winning Jerry Whelchel in the driver’s seat and Craig Hall as co-driver, they were off the line at 9:52 am. By mile 100 on corrected time, Camburg was in the top 10 overall and 8th in class and steadily moving forward.  With a flawless race so far, Jerry stopped at Pit 5 for fuel. Quickly back under way they were to race speed and moving up positions as the General Grabber race tires we’re hooking up in the Nevada desert.</p>
<p>Coming into Pit 10 at Mina 359 miles into the race, the Camburg team was now 4th in position and 3rd on corrected time. Whelchel pulled into the pits for fuel and a possible driver change with Jerry Zaiden. Now sitting on a podium position it was decided to keep Whelchel in the seat as positions were only minutes apart. With a stellar pit stop they were back on course.</p>
<p>Just past Pit 13 according to live timing by Race-Dezert.com, Camburg was close to 1st place on corrected time. With nearly 80 miles to the finish the pace was slowed when the driveshaft met its fate on a huge rock. This dent caused a bad vibration over 80 mph, but with this section of the course being slow and twisty it was decided to drive through it as to stop and change it would add too much time with everyone still so close. Shortly after Pit 14 they got around another truck that was actually behind them on corrected time and hit a huge rock in dust that peeled the beadlock ring back and caused the tire to deflate. A portion of the tire then wrapped around the axle housing and brakes, thankfully it didn’t take out the brake lines. This is where time was lost and Camburg fell down a few positions. Still hoping for a strong finish, Whelchel charged to the finish line in the low light.</p>

<p>The #75 Camburg Racing Trick Truck crossed the finish line in 10hrs 18mn 49 sec placing 4th in class and 7th overall only minutes from the podium. Now sitting in 5th and only 17 points out of 1st for the year with two races to go, expect to see some great racing at Parker and Henderson.</p>

These are available in small packets or tubes for a grease gun. Not  using the correct grease can cause the bushings to squeak abnormally and  can even damage them.</p>
<p>The  best method to grease the bushings is to remove the arms from the  vehicle, disassemble, clean and lubricate. This insures they are fully  cleaned and lubricated. When completely disassembling, you only need to  apply grease to the inner diameter where the sleeve presses into and  pivots and the outer bushing face. Do not grease the outer portion of  the bushing where it presses into the arm. You want the bushing to pivot  on the inner sleeve only.</p>
<p>For  more routine greasing you can also use a grease gun through the zerk  fittings. Some grease guns operate at 1300 psi. and can damage the  bushings applying too much pressure and distort the bushing out of the  arm so be careful. On Toyota models when using a grease gun you MUST  loosen the upper arm bolts so you’re able to pull the washers slightly  away from the outer bushings to relieve pressure prior to greasing. If  not grease will not be able to flow into the bushings and purge the old  grease and air out. Then tighten back to factory specs with red loc-tite  on the nut &amp; threads.</p>
<p>Staying on top of maintaining your bushings correctly will insure a quiet ride for a long time.</p>

<p>Our Ford Ranger link mounts bolt to the frame using existing holes to locate for proper alignment and geometry. These are laser cut and MIG welded and come with Bowmalloy 1/2&#8243; and 3/4&#8243; Grade 9 hardware. We also offer a universal kit that can be used for any project. You can use these for either 3 or 4 link designs. The upper mounts are setup for 1-1/4&#8243; heims and the lowers for 1&#8243; uniballs or bushings.</p>
