Camburg Racing Charges Hard in Henderson!

The 2011 Best in the Desert Transwest Ford Henderson 250 race was not only the last race of the season but was also a double point’s event.

Camburg Racing Runs Upfront at Vegas to Reno!

BITD’s Vegas to Reno is one of the most challenging races of the season. It’s the longest off-road race in the U.S. during the heat of the summer. It tests both man and machine to extreme limits. This year’s race was 550 miles through the toughest desert terrain starting in Beatty, Nevada just outside of Las Vegas and finishing in Dayton, Nevada near Reno.

Camburg Racing Pushes Hard to Henderson!

Coming into the last race of the season in Henderson Nevada, Camburg was focused on finishing well. Ultimately the engine issues they’ve been plagued with all year and a minor prep related issue kept them from attaining their goal of finishing Top 5 in points for the season.

Camburg Engineering congratulates Chris Freas #1479 on his 3rd place overall finish at SNORE’s Rage at the River in the 1450 class. The race format was over 2 days and Chris was only 34 seconds behind the 2nd place finisher.

Camburg Racing beats the heat in BITD’s Vegas 2 Reno race!

Huntington Beach, CA – The 2010 Best in the Desert TSCO Vegas to Reno Off-Road Race starts outside of Las Vegas in the small town of Beatty and finishes just outside of Reno in Dayton. This race was 534 miles and is known as the “the longest off-road race in the United States”. The wide spectrum of terrain ranging from rocks, silt, gravel roads, sand washes and huge cliffs is challenging to say the least along with the 100 plus degree weather.

In the end, Randy Merritt and Mongo Racing finished 2nd place in class 8100 at approximately 1:15 am on Saturday morning.
