BITD’s Vegas to Reno is one of the most challenging races of the season. It’s the longest off-road race in the U.S. during the heat of the summer. It tests both man and machine to extreme limits. This year’s race was 550 miles through the toughest desert terrain starting in Beatty, Nevada just outside of Las Vegas and finishing in Dayton, Nevada near Reno.

Coming into the last race of the season in Henderson Nevada, Camburg was focused on finishing well. Ultimately the engine issues they’ve been plagued with all year and a minor prep related issue kept them from attaining their goal of finishing Top 5 in points for the season.

Huntington Beach, CA – The 2010 Best in the Desert TSCO Vegas to Reno Off-Road Race starts outside of Las Vegas in the small town of Beatty and finishes just outside of Reno in Dayton. This race was 534 miles and is known as the “the longest off-road race in the United States”. The wide spectrum of terrain ranging from rocks, silt, gravel roads, sand washes and huge cliffs is challenging to say the least along with the 100 plus degree weather.
